Our Group Fitness Classes:

AB-solute Cardio: An invigorating workout session that combines 25 minutes of high-energy cardio with 20 minutes focused on core and abdominal exercises, with options to modify the cardio intervals for low-impact or adjust the intensity level to suit your fitness goals.
Wednesdays, 5:45 p.m. with Angela
$5 drop in. Birch Bay Activity Center. 

Adaptive Fitness: This class is scalable to participants' needs, with handrails, chairs, and floor mats to ensure that everyone can participate, despite any mobility limitations. We will also use, bands and yoga blocks to do gentle range of motion improvement, functional movements (how to get off the ground, out of a chair, etc.) and basic strength work.
Wednesdays, 8 a.m. with Kyle
$5 drop in. Birch Bay Activity Center. 

Functional Mobility: Build long-lasting improvements in range of motion and flexibility with a combination of soft tissue work and range of motion/deep stretching using foam rollers, hands, yoga mats and occasionally chairs and yoga blocks . A valuable addition to your fitness routine regardless of age and ability.
Mondays and Wednesdays, 7 a.m. with Kyle

"Get Fit": This class is a HIT and a HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)! Using a mix of equipment such as free weights, bands and steps, Josie (Mondays & Fridays) and Jenn (Wednesdays) will help you build muscle and improve your endurance, all in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

"Get Fit" Circuit: Want to change it up? Try Circuit with Josie! Build muscle, and improve your cardiovascular fitness and endurance.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. with Josie.

Line Dancing: Kick up your heels and join Charlene every Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Birch Bay. Get ready to stomp, slide, and shuffle to your favorite tunes. See you on the dance floor!

Pilates: Low impact exercise that focuses on performing small movements that rely on the back and core muscles for stabilization. Improve core strength and posture while creating muscle tone in the glutes, legs, abs, shoulders and back. This class will improve circulation, increase energy and focus, align the spine, and reduce low back pain. Your body will thank you for doing this class!
Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. with Mika at the Blaine Pavilion.
Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. with Melissa at the Blaine Pavilion.
Saturdays, 8 a.m. with Jenn at the Birch Bay Activity Center.

POUND®: Using Ripstix™ - weighted drumsticks engineered for exercise - POUND® transforms drumming into an effective full-body workout. This is a high-energy, electrifying workout set on the best rock and pop music around! You do not want to miss it!

Restorative Stretch  Relax tight muscles, decrease muscle soreness and reduce chronic pain. In addition to physical benefits, Restorative Stretch also serves to improve mood, enhance well-being and reduces stress and anxiety.
Tuesdays, 1:45 p.m. and Thursdays, 9:15 a.m. with Jenn.

TOTAL BARRE®: A high-energy program focusing on strength, flexibility, stamina and dynamic stability. Use the barre for balance and work every muscle of your body in this low-impact but highly effective workout set on the best music around!
Mondays, 6:35 p.m. and Tuesdays, 9:15 a.m. with Angela.
Evening Class: $5 drop in. Morning Class: $3 drop in. Birch Bay Activity Center. 

Yoga:  Increase flexibility, mobility, and strength while improving balance. This class is performed at a slow pace with plenty of options and modifications. Each class will conclude with a relaxation and guided meditation to enhance well-being.
Thursdays, 6 p.m. with Jenn.

Gentle Yoga: Gentle Yoga will increase flexibility, strength, improve balance, and enhance well-being. Moving slowly through a variety of poses while focusing on the breath makes this class beneficial for all levels.
Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m., with Mika.

Gentle Senior Yoga: This is a class for those who are either just getting started in yoga, are recovering from injuries, feeling a lot of stiffness, or just seeking a yoga that focuses more on breathing, stretching and nurturing body & soul at a more relaxed pace. All levels welcome.
Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. with Maureen.

Zumba®: Dance fitness classes that are fun, energetic, and make you feel amazing. Perfect For Everybody and every body! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on.

Tuesdays, 6 p.m.

We also offer 4 to 6-week sessions and bootcamps. These workouts require registration.

Early Bird Bootcamp: Get ready to jump start your fitness journey with our new early bird fitness bootcamp! Starting at 6 a.m., for 6 weeks, our expert instructor Angela will guide you through intense workouts set to the beat of the best heart-pumping music. This is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself and get in the best shape of your life.

Blaine Evening Bootcamp: Our most popular bootcamp: whether you're a beginner or an experienced fitness enthusiast, our bootcamp is designed to challenge and inspire you. During this intensive program, you will engage in a variety of exercises and training techniques that will improve your strength, endurance, and overall fitness level in a supportive and motivating environment.

Next session: 04/08/2024 - 05/15/2024

Strength Fundamentals: Each session will have an educational portion where you’ll learn or refine movement patterns, breathing techniques and more. Afterwards, you’ll end with a workout incorporating the things you’ve learned, so you can immediately get to work and get strong! All ages and abilities welcome.
