Activities for Kids and Families

As a retired teacher you can only image my great surprise to find a program that meets the needs of a variety of children, the Blaine Birch Bay Park and Rec After School Program. Not only does the staff meet the individual needs but they set up activities that promote both physical and mental benefits. The children are well supervised by a caring, fun adult who actually interacts with them. Josh understands the needs of children after a long day at school, by providing snacks, running, games, outside time and promoting nutrition at home by providing stickers to reach a goal and obtain a treasure from the treasure box. I am amazed each time I visit my grandson at the offering of this program completely Free! My grandson loves the staff, the equipment and the variety of games and activities available. Thank YOU Birch Bay for an outstanding program!!!! Available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:30 to 5:30, children can be dropped off or take a bus from school and one of the staff members will greet the kiddos at the bus stop.
