Celine Mauger

Celine has been teaching Zumba and other fitness formats since 2014. Her philosophy is that fitness can and should be fun, because we have enough chores as it is! She prides herself in providing easy-to-follow, enjoyable classes, with options for everybody. In addition to leading classes for us, you can also find Celine in the office here at the Park and Rec, working as an Activity Coordinator.
Celine lives in Birch Bay with her family and thoroughly enjoy all our area has to offer, especially when it rains!

Dory 2

Dory Stack

Dory grew up here locally and later moved to California where she was introduced to Zumba. After returning home she obtained her Zumba license and began teaching. She is an enthusiastic, joyful and energetic Instructor of over 7 years of experience. She gathers her inspiration from music around the world that moves her. Her smile is infectious, and her energy will inspire you!

Jenn Day

Hi, I'm Jenn, I've been in the Fitness industry for over 25 years now. I'm a mom and a grandma of 4. I have lived in Whatcom County all my life and moved to Birch Bay 5 years ago. I love it out here.
I teach pretty much teach everything, but currently teaching "Get Fit" on Wednesday (Leg Day), which is a combo of strength cardio involving weights, resistance bands, squishy balls, etc. I also teach Restorative Stretch every Thursday morning, with easy postures and holding them to feel good and Gentle Yoga every Thursday Night. It is a traditional yoga class that flows, with some holding postures.
I will also soon start a four-week Early Bird Get Fit session on January 31 (Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:15 am)
My wish for everyone is to live a long healthy and happy life and believe that this is done by adding group fitness to our lifestyle.

Jennie Olson-Six

Jennie grew up in Whatcom County and lived in San Diego, CA until she relocated back here 5 years ago. She has been teaching yoga since 2007 and has completed two 200 hour certifications in Power and Hatha Yoga, taken numerous workshops in pilates, prenatal yoga, trauma-informed yoga (so many workshops she can't remember) and recently finished her 500 hour certification with the Himalayan Institute. You may find her out walking the berm, hiking in nature or riding her bike.

Maureen

Maureen Kelly

Maureen is an author, workshop leader, chakra yoga teacher, acupressure and sound healing practitioner, AND animal enthusiast, certified in vibrational healing for 4-leggeds as well.
She has also been a consultant in the many uses of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® for over 30 years working with all size businesses as well as individuals to increase communication and awareness of life direction.
The major theme that seems to shine through all her learning and teaching is the practice of WELLNESS and the role that we play in celebrating our own personal wellbeing, be that physical, emotional or spiritual.

Melissa Salhus

Hi, I'm Melissa! I love helping people feel good through exercise! I discovered at a young age that my mental health always improved when I was active! I have always loved to dance, and Step Aerobics was also a favorite of mine! I became a Group Fitness Instructor in 2014. Since then, I've taught a variety of different formats, but always with the same goal: to empower people to feel strong, capable, and healthy in mind, body, and spirit! I am an outgoing and social person, and I love the positive energy that is created in all Group Fitness classes!
